Filezilla is a program used to transfer files from your local computer to a remote server.
To Connect to the Remote Server
Open Filezilla on your computer and enter the following information into the corresponding text boxes.
- Host - Enter the IP Address of the Remote Computer you are trying to connect to.
- Username - Enter the username provided by the admin of the remote server
- Password - Enter the password provided by the admin of the remote server
Click "Quickconnect" to establish a connection to the server.
To edit a file in the server files area, right click on the file and choose View/Edit.
After saving the changes from your custom text editor, such as Notepad, FileZilla will ask if you want to update the file on the server with the new changes.
To download a file from the server, right click on the file and choose Download.
To upload a file from your computer to your server, right click on the file and choose Upload.
